March CLT Monthly Meeting Summary - "Catalyst Wisdom Exchange"
We opened with a read-out on the response and progress made at member organization Carya following Patrick’s sharing his burning issue with the community last August.
Carya’s Chief People Officer, Evelyn Derycke, joined us to share a long list of actions. It was clear that Patrick and his leadership team took CLT member's advice to center on purpose and values to heart. Carya has instituted a raft of new programs, from revised performance evaluations based on corporate values to new onboarding emphasis on culture, increased 1:1s and communications with Patrick, and more. Evelyn confirms the impact and success of this approach with rising productivity and employee satisfaction scores! Thank you to all the CLT members who contributed to this discussion last August and today!
Next we turned to our Catalyst Wisdom Exchange research (see publication here) and our first draft of the Seasoned Catalyst’s Journey to Success
Some key reflections include:
This is not a linear journey for our Catalysts
Suggested additions include framing business value, creativity, exploration, and experimentation.
Cultivate buy-in throughout the process
This journey is a co-creation in process, and our members came through with a ton of feedback, insights, and additions, all of which we will attempt to incorporate in the next round…stay tuned!
